Why do my shots miss at long range? Do bullets drop now?
Yes. Since the early-October update, bullets from firearms are no longer instant: they take time to reach the target and drop slightly over distance. Arrows, bolts and spears drop more than before.
What this means in practice.
• At long range, aim a little above the target.
• Lead moving targets — aim where they'll be.
• Shooting from a moving vehicle or train, your bullets don't carry the vehicle's speed, so lead even more.
• The hit marker appears when the bullet actually lands, not the moment you fire.
